"My work is my play and a definite outlet for some of my creative energy. I find inspiration from the most unassuming, minutest things, especially in nature and from what has been discarded. I like to find ways to re-purpose what others might consider spent or without further use or beauty. This challenge fits perfectly with my penchant for experimenting with different media and trying new techniques.

I love to look at things that are ambiguous, reveal themselves over time, uncovering new layers of meaning or textures within. My art is ever evolving, with textures built upon each other, revealing another aspect, another possibility

In my pieces, I am prone to include layers of acrylics, handmade paper, inks, iron, metallic powders, fabric and things found along the way. Definitely a mixed-up mixed media. Enjoy!"
